Section of Jefferson Twp. road to close Tuesday
JEFFERSON TWP. — A section of state Route 2002 (Wimmers Road) will close for bridge repairs starting Tuesday, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials said.
The work will take place through Aug. 1 and detours will be in place.
Motorists traveling east from Route 2002 will turn right onto Route 348, then proceed to the stop sign at the intersection of Route 590 west before turning right and driving 3.2 miles, and then turning right on Route 2002, officials said.
Those traveling west will turn left onto Route 590 east to the intersection with Route 348 west before turning left onto Route 348 west and driving 3.7 miles, then turning left on Route 2002, officials said.
